Custom made mouth guards are worn by amateur and professional players in rugby, soccer, american football, boxing, martial arts, squash, cricket, hockey, lacrosse, netball, basketball, etc.

If you play a contact sport there’s a 10 to 1 chance of sustaining an injury to your mouth or jaw during the playing season, and over a playing career the odds are as low as 2 or 3 to 1. That’s what the experts say, but they also say that such injuries could be almost totally prevented by wearing a well-fitted mouth guard.

Many players in contact and high-risk non-contact sports agree, and play with greater confidence because they are well protected.

A Lynxsport mouth guard is custom made for you in soft thermoplastic from an impression of your mouth taken by a dentist. It will, therefore, fit your teeth and gums exactly and comfortably, holding the lips, tongue and cheek away from your teeth and cushioning any blow to that area.

Lynxsport is the brand favoured by players in a wide range of sport because it combines protection with comfort – great care being taken to keep the palate area as clear as possible thus giving better respiration and speech than some inferior mouth guards. Your mouth guard can be transparent or any colour/s you choose – team colours being an obvious favourite, and it comes in a handy, hygienic plastic container.

To obtain your Lynxsport mouth guard print off this page and take it to your dentist and ask for the necessary impression of your mouth. As dental charges vary slightly, it is not possible to specify a uniform price per mouth guard, so enquire form your dentist what the total cost will be. Usually an accurate guide is that your mouth guard will cost you about the price of a pair of boots. Beware of expensive imitations. There is only one Lynxsport!
